Pittsburgh International has one departure procedure, the Pittsburgh 6 Departure.
The DP has several initial waypoints that should be filed for; appropriate for the direction of a flight.
--BSV (Briggs VOR) - West/NW
--TVT (Tiverton VOR) - West/SW
--HLG (Wheeling VOR) - West/SW
--DILNE - West/SW
--EWC (Elwood City VOR) - North
--BURGS - South/SW
--MGW (Morgantown VOR) - Southeast
--JST (Johnstown VOR) - East
--REC (Revloc VOR) - East
--TON (Tyrone VOR) - East/NE
The decision of which fix is best to use for your direction of flight is up to you, but all flight plans filed
should have one of the above fixes as the initial fix.

KAGC has the Allegheny Four departure, which uses most of the same fixes as KPIT. Check the chart for all the
official departure waypoints.
The remaining PIT Satellite airports do not have a Departure Procedure, but should file for one of the above initial
waypoints when departing the TRACON.
I hope you found this briefing helpful,
Larry Huber,
PIT Operations Manager
