1.0) KPIT Standard Terminal Arrival Procedures (STARs)

1.0a) There are four Terminal Arrival Procedures for KPIT.

1.0c) If there is no Arrival Controller (APP/CTR) online, pilots will need to navigate on their own; Tower cannot provide any services before aircraft turn to final.

1.0d) There are four STARs for KPIT, each one having slightly different routes toward KPIT:

CUTTA2 – Northwest/West

WISKE2 – Southwest/South

NESTO2 – Southeast/South

GRACE2 – Northeast/East

1.0e) You should check the chart for each STAR to get the routings for it. If you cannot find the chart for any reason, simply use one of those four fixes as your final waypoint: CUTTA, GRACE, NESTO, WISKE.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.1) Altitudes

1.1a) NESTO and WISKE: Jet arrivals should cross at 10,000’

1.1a-1) Prop arrivals filed for 210kts or greater should cross at 7,000’.

1.1a-2) Prop arrivals filed for under 210kts should cross at 6,000’.

1.1b) CUTTA: All arrivals should cross at 10,000’.

1.1c) GRACE: Jet arrivals should cross at 10,000’.

1.1a-1) Prop arrivals filed for 210kts or greater should cross at 8,000’.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2.0) PIT Satellite Airport Arrival Procedures (STARs)

2.0a) All four of the STARs for KPIT are also used variably for the PIT Satellite airports (KAGC, KBVI, KHLG, KBTP).

2.0b) If there is no Arrival Controller (APP/CTR) online, pilots will need to navigate on their own; Towers cannot provide any services before aircraft turn to final.

2.0c) There are four PIT Sattelite arrivals:

WISKE2

NESTO2

GRACE2

CUTTA2

2.0d) You should check the chart for the STAR to get the routings for it. If you cannot find the chart for any reason, simply use the fixe as your final waypoint: NESTO, WISKE, GRACE, CUTTA.

2.1) Altitudes

2.1a) NESTO, WISKE, and GRACE satellite arrivals should cross at 5,000’.
