D21 TRACON - Home of the Motor City!


Welcome to the Detroit TRACON (D21), home of the 11th busiest U.S. airport! We are located in the Cleveland ARTCC (ZOB). We pride ourselves on our realism, professionalism, and friendliness. Here you can find basic information on the Detroit sector including its Satellite airports, Departure Procedures, and Terminal Arrivals, as well as general airspace and basic procedures.

As a little background information, in the real world, D21 TRACON is the Approach facility surrounding Detroit, Willow Run, City, Pontiac, Ann Arbor, and Windsor. The DTW facility (DTW ATCT) is a separate entity. However, for our purposes on VATSIM, both are considered a part of the same facility: D21.
